Berlin Gets a New Beirut Link
Middle East Airlines has started flights between Berlin Brandenburg Airport and Beirut, adding another Middle East route for Germany’s capital region. The Lebanese carrier is mainly targeting people with family, personal and community ties to Lebanon, not only leisure demand. It also gives Berlin-based travellers a clearer way to reach the Lebanese capital without changing planes at another major hub.

The direct flight can make Beirut easier to plan for travellers who want more time in the city instead of waiting in transfer halls. Arrivals can head towards the Corniche, Hamra, Gemmayzeh, the National Museum and the seafront. Depending on current conditions, the route can also support longer stays that include Byblos, the Bekaa Valley or family visits outside the capital.
The new link is most useful for trips shaped by family, community ties or onward travel in the region. It gives Berlin a more direct connection with Lebanon, but still needs careful preparation.
