Over 4,000 police officers will be stationed at the stadium and on Paris’s transportation network to ensure safety and order for the fans. Some local business owners, who usually welcome major sports events for the boost in sales, are choosing to close earlier than usual due to fears of potential unrest. One shop owner admitted, "I’m scared. I think I’ll close around 2 or 3 p.m.," recalling recent incidents in Amsterdam following the Europa League game between Ajax and Maccabi Tel Aviv, which ended in unrest.
The incident in Amsterdam have significantly influenced the approach to organizing large-scale events. Israel's National Security Council has advised its citizens abroad to avoid attending sports and cultural events. However, France’s Ministry of the Interior has assured that the game will proceed as planned with strict security measures in place. As an additional precaution, the stadium expects only 15,000–20,000 attendees, a record low turnout, which further reduces the risk of disturbances.
