Following the joyful summer events at Stade de France, associated with the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the atmosphere at this famous stadium will be quite different as it hosts the UEFA Nations League match between France and Israel. Paris authorities have classified the game as a high-risk event, raising concerns among local residents and shop owners near the stadium. Special security measures include installing electromagnetic doors, which will remain closed throughout the day for public safety, as well as placing warning signs advising people to avoid going outside unless necessary.

Over 4,000 police officers will be stationed at the stadium and on Paris’s transportation network to ensure safety and order for the fans. However, these additional security measures have not reassured everyone. Some local business owners, who usually welcome major sports events for the boost in sales, are choosing to close earlier than usual due to fears of potential unrest. One shop owner admitted, "I’m scared. I think I’ll close around 2 or 3 p.m.," recalling recent incidents in Amsterdam following the Europa League game between Ajax and Maccabi Tel Aviv, which ended in unrest.

The incident in Amsterdam have significantly influenced the approach to organizing large-scale events. Israel's National Security Council has advised its citizens abroad to avoid attending sports and cultural events. However, France’s Ministry of the Interior has assured that the game will proceed as planned with strict security measures in place. As an additional precaution, the stadium expects only 15,000–20,000 attendees, a record low turnout, which further reduces the risk of disturbances.

For tourists, this event serves as a reminder of the importance of staying alert while traveling, especially when attending large events in major cities. Given the heightened security presence around Stade de France and the high level of police activity, it is advisable to plan routes in advance, avoid crowded public areas, and follow local guidance. In the current situation, travelers are encouraged to exercise caution to ensure a safe and comfortable stay in France.
