LOT Opens Sales for Warsaw–Hanoi Route

LOT Polish Airlines has opened sales for a new non-stop service linking Warsaw Chopin Airport with Hanoi. The year-round route begins in spring 2027 and will use Boeing 787 Dreamliners. Hanoi is set to become LOT’s fifth long-haul destination in Asia, following Tokyo, Seoul and New Delhi, with Bangkok also due to join the network, strengthening the airline’s reach across the region.

Tickets are available via LOT’s website, mobile app, contact centre and authorised travel agents. The airline says the new service reflects growing demand for travel and business links with Vietnam, while supporting Warsaw’s role as a connecting hub for Central and Eastern Europe. Hanoi will sit alongside LOT’s other long-haul Asian destinations, with Bangkok also scheduled to join the network.

Hanoi places the Old Quarter, Hoàn Kiếm Lake, the Temple of Literature and the city’s water puppet theatres within easier reach. The capital also provides a useful starting point for longer trips to Ha Long Bay, the limestone landscapes of Ninh Bình and the mountain region around Sapa. Food-focused visits can include phở, bún chả, bánh cuốn and Hanoi’s egg coffee.

The non-stop service removes an extra airport connection, cutting one of the most awkward parts of a journey to northern Vietnam. With only three departures a week at launch, dates will need to be matched carefully with hotels, tours and domestic transport. The fourth weekly winter flight offers more flexibility, especially for itineraries that continue beyond Hanoi and depend on fixed local bookings.
