Berlin Gets Daily Milan Flights Before Christmas
Wizz Air is adding a direct link between Berlin Brandenburg Airport and Milan Malpensa, giving travellers another way to reach northern Italy without a connection. The route will become the airline’s only Italian service from BER and will connect the German capital region with Milan, one of Europe’s busiest business and city-break destinations. The addition broadens Wizz Air’s network at the airport for both leisure and work trips.

The service will use an Airbus A321neo with 239 seats. Milan Malpensa is the largest international airport serving the city, while Italy is a growing market within Wizz Air’s BER network. No limited operating period has been announced, so the route is currently presented as an ongoing daily service rather than a short seasonal addition. Tickets and final fares should be checked directly during booking.
Milan gives Berlin travellers access to the city’s museums, architecture, fashion districts and food scene, while Malpensa also works as an arrival point for wider Lombardy. Lake Maggiore and Lake Como are among the possible onward destinations, making the route suitable for both a city break and a longer northern Italy trip without changing aircraft on the outward journey.
A daily flight is more useful than a route operating only a few times a week, particularly for short breaks and work trips with fixed dates. Travellers should still compare the final fare after adding baggage and seat charges, and allow for the transfer between Malpensa and central Milan. The 14 December start also places the first flights just before the Christmas and New Year travel period.
