All Nippon Airways (ANA) has announced that starting August 15, 2024, they will begin showcasing the world’s first Pokémon-themed in-flight safety and disembarkation videos. These unique videos, created in collaboration with The Pokémon Company, will be available on ANA's "Pikachu Jet NH" and "Eevee Jet NH" flights.

The initiative is part of ANA's broader partnership with The Pokémon Company, which began in March 2023 under the "Pokémon Air Adventures" program. This collaboration features two specially painted aircraft, designed to offer passengers a playful and engaging travel experience.

The new safety videos aim to captivate audiences of all ages by blending essential safety information with the beloved world of Pokémon. The videos, featuring iconic Pokémon characters, present safety procedures in an easy-to-understand and entertaining format, ensuring that passengers remain attentive during the important safety briefings.

Motoaki Ueno, Executive Vice President of Customer Experience Management and Planning at ANA, emphasized the unique nature of this collaboration, highlighting how it merges fun and educational content to create a memorable experience for passengers. The project underscores ANA's commitment to passenger safety while enhancing the overall flight experience through innovative approaches.

In addition to the safety video, a special disembarkation video features Pikachu on a journey through the airport, eventually reuniting with its trainer thanks to the help of ANA staff. This narrative not only entertains but also reflects ANA's dedication to teamwork and customer care.

ANA's new videos will include Japanese-English narration, multilingual subtitles in 18 languages, and sign language, ensuring accessibility for a global audience. The videos can also be viewed on ANA's official YouTube channel, offering a preview of what travelers can expect on their next Pokémon-themed flight.
