AirAsia Announces Super Sale Ahead of Inaugural Cairns Services

AirAsia has launched a super sale to celebrate its new services from Cairns, Australia, starting on August 14, 2024. With fares from AUD 159, travelers can enjoy affordable flights to various Asia-Pacific destinations.

This sale coincides with AirAsia’s expansion in Australia, offering direct flights from Cairns to Kuala Lumpur and beyond. The new services aim to boost connectivity for leisure and business travelers, strengthening ties between Australia and Asia.

AirAsia’s CEO, Tony Fernandes, expressed excitement about the new route, saying it offers travelers more affordable and convenient options. The Cairns-Kuala Lumpur route will operate several times a week, providing flexible scheduling.

Passengers are encouraged to book early, as the sale is for a limited time and covers travel from August 14, 2024, to March 31, 2025. The new services are expected to boost tourism and local economies while providing a convenient travel option for Cairns residents.
