Air India and Lufthansa Expand Codeshare Agreement, Boosting Travel Connectivity
Air India and Lufthansa Group have strengthened their codeshare partnership by adding nearly 60 new routes connecting 12 Indian and 26 European cities. This expansion integrates Austrian Airlines into the existing cooperation with Lufthansa and SWISS, significantly improving travel accessibility between India and Europe. The codeshare agreement also extends to select long-haul routes, allowing Lufthansa Group airlines to add their flight designators to Air India’s services from Delhi and Mumbai to Kathmandu, Melbourne, and Sydney.
