Air France has announced significant upgrades to its La Première first class experience at Paris Charles De Gaulle International Airport (CDG) in anticipation of the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games, starting on July 26, 2024. The enhancements aim to offer an exclusive and seamless journey for first-class passengers.

Exclusive and New First Class Experience

Air France is committed to enhancing the La Première experience, introducing new cabins later this year. Changes to the airport-side experience at CDG will be available by July, just in time for the Olympic Games. The new features include a dedicated check-in lobby and spacious suites to ensure a private and smooth travel experience.

Dedicated Check-In Lobby for La Première

The special check-in lobby for La Première passengers will offer a personalized and exclusive service. Each passenger will be welcomed by a dedicated concierge who will handle baggage and guide them to an exclusive check-in area. This lobby will feature 15 seats and two private lounges, enhancing privacy and comfort. The private lobby lounge is reserved for those who opt for the La Première suites, available for €800 ($865.95) per passenger, and are exclusive to first-class ticket holders.

The lobby will also serve arriving first-class passengers, providing a space to relax and freshen up, including shower facilities. Passengers can collect their luggage directly from this dedicated area.

Designed by Air France experts and the SGK Brandimage agency, the lobby combines individualized spaces with an overall sense of expansiveness. After check-in, passengers can proceed to the La Première lounge via an exclusive passage with a dedicated security checkpoint, decorated with accents of Air France's iconic winged seahorse.

Exclusive Lounge at CDG

The new La Première lounge, designed by Didier Lefort of DL2A, spans 10,700 square feet (1,000 square meters) and offers a serene and exclusive environment. The lounge will include three private suites, each 500 square feet (45 square meters), featuring a living area, a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom, and an outdoor patio. The suites are adorned with fresh flowers, luxurious linens, and haute-couture finishes, aiming to create a regal atmosphere.

Air France has also teased the introduction of new La Première cabins during the winter 2024-2025 season. These cabins will feature five windows per seat and offer three configurations: a seat, a chaise lounge, and a flat bed. The new seats will be installed on more aircraft than currently equipped with La Première.
