To support attendees of live performances in Manchester this November, TransPennine Express has scheduled additional evening trains to Liverpool. These arrangements cater specifically for event attendees needing reliable transportation back following shows by popular artists like Sleep Token and Charli XCX, providing a safer and more convenient way to travel post-event.

The first of these late-night trains departs from Manchester Victoria just before one in the morning the day after Sleep Token’s concert, making halts at Newton-le-Willows and Lea Green en route to Liverpool Lime Street. An additional service follows at the same time the next day, after Charli XCX’s performance, ensuring followers have direct and timely options for their return journey.

For those attending these high-demand events, the convenience of additional night transport enhances the experience of visiting Manchester's lively music venues. Late-night options for returning travelers are often limited, particularly for those heading to other cities, so these trains offer a dependable route back, especially valuable during the colder nights in November.

Manchester is renowned for its vibrant cultural scene, regularly drawing music enthusiasts from across the UK. Co-op Live Arena, one of the city's premier concert venues, is a popular destination that attracts fans from both local areas and further afield. Late-night concerts like these require well-timed transportation, and TransPennine Express’s additional trains are a welcome solution for fans planning their journeys.

This initiative also highlights a growing trend in regional rail services adjusting to the schedules of major events. By aligning transport options with concert timings, TransPennine Express supports Manchester’s role as a key cultural hub, making it easier for travelers to explore the city’s offerings.
