Air Serbia Opens First Direct Belgrade–Tenerife Route
Air Serbia has opened a direct link between Belgrade and Tenerife, marking the first direct air link between Belgrade and the Canary Islands. The route launched earlier than originally planned after the airline reported strong demand, particularly for autumn and winter travel. Tenerife becomes Air Serbia’s seventh destination in Spain, with Seville due to join the network on 30 September.

Current timetable listings put the westbound journey at about five hours and 45 minutes, although departure times can vary by date. The nonstop service removes the need for a connection, while tickets are available through Air Serbia’s booking channels. Travellers arranging airport transfers should check their exact flight time when booking.
Tenerife South Airport puts the island’s main southern resorts within easier reach. Aena lists direct bus links to Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje, plus services towards Santa Cruz and Tenerife North Airport. Beyond the beaches, visitors can reach Teide National Park, Anaga Rural Park, the mountain village of Masca and UNESCO-listed San Cristóbal de La Laguna, all highlighted among Tenerife’s major attractions.
The twice-weekly pattern suits longer leisure trips better than a conventional weekend break: travellers avoiding a next-day return can build four- or five-night stays around the Saturday or Tuesday departures. The bigger change is the removal of a connection for Canary Islands trips from Belgrade. Air Serbia will add Seville on 30 September, taking its number of currently served Spanish destinations to eight.
