Wrocław Adds Winter Flights to Seville and London Luton
Two new routes are being added to Wrocław’s winter schedule this December, connecting the city directly with Seville and London Luton. Flights to Seville will begin on December 6, while the London Luton service starts a day earlier. The new connections follow seasonal changes in airline operations and increase the range of destinations available from Wrocław Airport during the winter months, particularly for those planning international travel in late 2025 and early 2026.
This will be Wrocław Airport’s first direct route to southern Spain. Flights to Seville now go straight to Andalusia without stops, and planes to London Luton will take off four times each week from Wrocław. Both routes were introduced based on travel demand observed by the airline and are expected to support various types of travel, such as holiday visits, work-related trips, or visits to friends and relatives abroad.
Seville is one of the destinations our passengers have been asking about regularly when discussing the expansion of our route network. The capital of Andalusia attracts not only with its architecture but also with flamenco and Spanish passion. I’m convinced that this connection will be one of the hits of the winter flight schedule.
In winter, London’s public spaces take on a festive tone that lasts through much of December. Trafalgar Square displays a tall Christmas tree, a tradition maintained since the 1940s, and small choirs often perform carols in the evenings. Down by the river on the Southbank, small wooden stands pop up for the season, where you can grab something hot to drink or a snack while walking along the chilly path. Lights and simple installations create a low-key festive atmosphere that continues despite the cold and shorter days.
In winter, Seville’s historic center is lined with lights that follow the narrow streets and lead into open plazas. At Plaza Nueva, the Christmas market includes handmade goods, traditional Andalusian sweets like polvorones, and several nativity scenes that reflect local customs. Small music stages are often set up near the market, and decorations stretch across nearby streets, making it possible to experience the season simply by walking through the area.
These new connections form part of a wider pattern of seasonal route updates in the European travel network. By reducing the need for layovers, the direct flights simplify planning for winter trips across the region. Travelers heading to Spain or the UK during this period may find the added options useful when organizing shorter breaks or longer visits during the off-peak travel months.
