easyJet has launched its Big Orange Sale, providing up to 20% off more than 750,000 seats on flights from the UK between 18 September 2025 and 22 March 2026. The offer covers over 130 destinations in Europe, including winter sun spots and city break locations. Travel during Christmas and school holidays is included, allowing passengers to plan winter trips without emphasizing promotional deals.

In addition to the sale, easyJet has expanded its network with new routes for winter travel. London Gatwick, Bristol, and Liverpool will now serve Vienna, while Manchester gains flights to Ljubljana, Strasbourg, and Verona. Belfast now offers a direct link to Rovaniemi, Finland, known as the home of Santa Claus. These new connections enhance travel options across Europe for the winter season.

“With flights across over 130 destinations from the UK to choose from, customers can book a great value holiday to some of the most popular winter spots across Europe and beyond."
Kevin Doyle, easyJet’s UK Country Manager

These route additions are likely to influence travel patterns this winter. In Vienna, travelers can immerse themselves in cultural and seasonal activities, whereas Rovaniemi presents a one-of-a-kind winter experience suited for family trips. The newly introduced Manchester flights provide travelers with multiple opportunities to discover cities and enjoy leisure activities, giving each journey a sense of flexibility and natural flow. This growth may inspire travelers to explore less common destinations, going beyond typical sun or ski vacations.

The sale period and network changes affect passenger planning and route choices. Destinations such as Faro, Palma de Mallorca, Malaga, and Catania will receive more seats, which will potentially affect flight demand and schedules. These updates allow travelers to organize their trips more effectively, giving them added flexibility when choosing destinations during the busy winter season.

Recent winter route changes by easyJet highlight broader trends in air travel between the UK and Europe. New routes and increased capacity reflect changes in travel patterns and seasonal passenger demand. These developments provide a clear view of market dynamics, route growth, and possible changes in winter travel across Europe, conveyed objectively and without marketing emphasis.
