The continent to visit if you are afraid of volcanoes has been named
A volcanic eruption looks incredibly beautiful if you are not standing near it at the time and know that the lava will not take away anyone's life or home. Volcano-phobia is a completely normal fear of such a natural disaster that destroys all life in its path.
It is not surprising that some tourists avoid resort destinations where there may be active volcanoes nearby. However, there is a continent where you can safely travel with such fear, Travelingmitch writes.
Of course, we are talking about Australia. There are no active volcanoes on this continent. Australia is located on a solid plate, so there has been no geological activity for about 1.5 million years.
The last eruption here occurred thousands of years ago, so the hives on the continent are just picturesque mountains that do not pose a threat.
If you're not afraid of big spiders, fighting kangaroos, poisonous snakes, and various palm-sized insects, Australia is a pretty nice place to travel. At least, a volcanic eruption won't ruin your holiday.
