Sleep Next Door to Olympia’s Big Shows

Hyatt has opened Hyatt Regency London Olympia inside the redeveloped Olympia district in West London. The 204-room hotel sits within the £1.3bn project turning the historic exhibition area into a wider culture, business and entertainment quarter. It is the fifth Hyatt Regency hotel in London and is aimed at guests using Olympia for events, meetings, performances and city breaks.
What Opened Beside Olympia
- Hotel: Hyatt Regency London Olympia
- Location: Emberton House, West London
- Area: £1.3bn Olympia regeneration
- Rooms: 204 guestrooms and suites
- Opening announced: 7 July 2026
- Nearest station: Kensington Olympia
- Dining: 1937 Lounge & Bar, The Market and Idalia
- Facilities: fitness centre and more than 900 sq ft of meeting space
The hotel occupies Emberton House, a 1937 building once used as one of Europe’s largest multi-storey car parks. For visitors, the useful part is not just the design history, but the setting: rooms sit opposite Kensington Olympia station, close to the exhibition halls, convention centre and new entertainment venues, with 1937 Lounge & Bar, The Market and Idalia adding food options on site.
The opening makes West London more convenient for visitors who want to stay beside Olympia rather than commute after a late event. Holland Park, Kensington Palace, the Design Museum and the Natural History Museum are all within easy reach, while Heathrow and central London connections make the hotel useful for short business trips, weekend stays and international guests arriving for major shows.
The hotel will be most useful when Olympia is the reason for the trip. Staying beside the venue can cut late-night transfers after exhibitions, concerts or conferences, while Kensington still gives easy access to museums, parks and central London. The only catch is timing: major events can push rates up quickly, so the Olympia calendar is worth checking before choosing dates.
