Scandal on the plane: a passenger was ejected due to a stomach disorder
Traveler Joanna Chiu's attempt to use WestJet to fly home from Mexico ended in a scandal. The airline staff simply kicked the woman off the plane.
The issue arose when the traveler used the restroom too often before takeoff. The flight attendants noticed her frequent trips to the toilet, as reported by Yourtango.
According to the tourist, she had an "upset stomach" and was going in and out of the airplane's toilet before takeoff to relieve her symptoms. Despite the fact that Chiu was on the mend and taking medication, she was kicked off the plane.
"I just got kicked off a @WestJet flight from Mexico because I had an upset stomach and went to the bathroom too much before takeoff," she said in a post on X.
The situation was further complicated by the fact that in her hurry to get off the plane, she left all her money with her fellow passengers. Unable to pay for a taxi or a hotel in the area, she alerted a WestJet executive to her situation. However, according to Chiu, the airline's representatives were hostile and refused to help her.
