New Napcabs Sleeping Cabins Introduced at Stuttgart Airport

Travellers using Stuttgart Airport can now rest more comfortably thanks to four new Napcabs sleeping cabins installed in Terminal 1. Each unit is designed for short breaks, giving passengers a quiet place to unwind during a layover or before an early flight. The addition of Napcabs brings another layer of comfort to one of Germany’s busiest regional airports, where passenger numbers continue to rise every year.
Each cabin measures about four square metres and includes a freshly made bed, a small table, and a touchscreen control panel. Travellers can use the screen to adjust lighting, set an alarm, or select background music. The cabins offer a peaceful spot where passengers can enjoy privacy, balanced lighting, and a pleasant indoor climate, the kind of comfort that makes a real rest possible between flights. For many, it’s a welcome change from trying to sleep on a bench or in a crowded waiting area.
Bookings are available online through Napcabs GmbH Germany’s official website. The price is €17 per hour during the day and €12 per hour overnight, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Passengers can choose how long they wish to stay, from a brief nap to several hours of rest before their next flight. Payment is made online, and access is gained by scanning a QR code, which keeps the process fully automated and simple to use.
The presence of Napcabs makes connecting through Stuttgart Airport easier for passengers facing long transfers or unexpected delays. Time between journeys can now be spent more comfortably before continuing to destinations across Europe. The airport’s close link to Stuttgart’s city centre also allows visitors to reach attractions such as Schlossplatz, the Mercedes-Benz Museum, and the historic market halls within minutes by public transport.

Installing sleeping cabins at Stuttgart Airport reflects a steady move towards more passenger-friendly services. With flights often delayed or scheduled at unusual hours, having a quiet private space to rest can make travel far less exhausting. Napcabs give travellers the chance to pause, relax, and recover directly inside the terminal, helping them continue their journeys feeling rested and ready for what’s ahead.
