In April 2025, Maldives-based luxury airline beOnd kicked off a new nonstop route connecting Munich and Dubai. Using fifth freedom traffic rights, the aircraft take off twice a week from Munich Airport (MUC) and land at Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC). After the airline began offering nonstop service between Munich and Malé in 2024, this is its second route from Germany.
The new connection was approved by both the Maldives Civil Aviation Authority and Germany’s Luftfahrt-Bundesamt. It reflects beOnd’s ongoing efforts to expand its network across Europe and provide more efficient travel options to high-demand international destinations.
