Travellers flying from Bristol will have a new option for reaching the Caribbean between late October 2025 and late March 2026. KLM is launching a seasonal route from Amsterdam to Bridgetown, Barbados, operating three times per week. Since Bristol maintains daily connections to Amsterdam, this development provides a one-stop winter itinerary to the Caribbean for passengers in southwest England, offering a route that does not require travel through London, Manchester, or other major UK hubs.
Planes leave Amsterdam for Bridgetown three times a week in winter, with departures on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. With flights spaced out across the week, it’s easy to plan anything from a quick getaway to a longer break in Barbados. Frequent flights from Bristol to Schiphol mean travellers don’t have to go far to start longer trips abroad. This could be a good choice for travellers who want to skip the extra time it often takes to reach far-off flights from smaller UK airports.
