New Air France Link Brings Twice-Daily Paris Flights to Gatwick in 2026
Passengers travelling through London Gatwick will gain a new direct link to Paris next spring, as Air France prepares to launch a twice-daily service to Charles de Gaulle Airport. Starting 29 March 2026, the airline will use Airbus A220 aircraft on the route, strengthening its position in the UK market and meeting growing demand for access to major European hubs through Gatwick.
The new service gives passengers in London and the South East a straightforward way to reach both the French capital and the wider Air France network. With nearly 170 destinations across 73 countries connected through Paris Charles de Gaulle, the schedule is designed to support both short city breaks and long-haul connections. Gatwick officials say the announcement reflects increasing competition for airport slots as airlines expand ahead of the 2026 season.
Air France representatives described the route as an important step in widening options for UK passengers. In addition to the new flights, travellers can expect access to the airline’s upgraded long-haul cabins when connecting in Paris, including its latest Business Class suites, refreshed dining programme, and new La Première experience on selected aircraft. Members of the Flying Blue programme will also gain complimentary Wi-Fi across the fleet as it rolls out fully by the end of 2026.
With two daily flights, the Paris link makes several destinations more accessible for holidaymakers planning ahead. Museums, galleries, and neighbourhoods across Paris become easier to reach for day trips or weekend stays, while passengers heading further afield gain smoother connections to Canada, the Caribbean, Japan, South-East Asia, and key cities across Africa and South America.
