LOT Polish Airlines has confirmed three new year-round routes from Gdańsk, strengthening its presence in northern Poland. Alongside the upcoming Gdańsk–Istanbul service planned for January, these additions extend the carrier’s activity at regional airports. Demand for direct flights in the Pomerania region has been rising, and the new links answer that need by adding more practical options for international travel.

The new routes will connect Gdańsk with destinations important for work trips and short breaks. Launch dates and frequencies are:

  • Brussels: from 29 April 2026 - four weekly flights (Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri)
  • Oslo: from 29 April 2026 - five weekly flights (Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat)
  • Bergen: from 30 April 2026 - three weekly flights (Tue, Thu, Sun)

The added flights make it easier for residents of Gdańsk and the neighbouring cities of Gdynia and Sopot, and the new flights offer direct access to these destinations.

Airport representatives in Gdańsk have welcomed the expansion, noting that Brussels has long been anticipated by regional passengers. The connections to Oslo and Bergen will also strengthen access to Norway, a popular leisure and work destination for many Polish residents. With Istanbul joining the schedule earlier in the year, Gdańsk gains a broader route network, making it a more convenient starting point for international travel and an appealing gateway for visitors arriving in the region.

Beyond convenience, the routes open simple ways to experience varied European cities.

  • Brussels brings major EU institutions, parks, and historic viewpoints.
  • Oslo offers coastal scenery, open-air museums, and its well-known ski jumping hill at Holmenkollen.
  • Bergen introduces travellers to colourful harbourfront streets, local markets, and easy access to fjord landscapes.

More frequent services make it easier for passengers in Pomerania to organise their travel, regardless of the length of their stay.

LOT’s expanded activity in regional airports shows how demand in northern Poland is changing. With new direct options, planning international trips becomes simpler and less time-consuming. As more routes appear in the timetable, Gdańsk strengthens its links with major European cities, creating practical benefits for people living in the region as well as those visiting for business or leisure.
