JSX Expands Its Wings: New Direct Flights from Scottsdale to Southern California

In a move set to redefine summer travel for Arizonans, JSX has announced the launch of its new seasonal nonstop service connecting Scottsdale with key Southern California destinations. Starting mid-May, travelers will enjoy direct flights to both Orange County and Carlsbad, just in time for the peak travel season.

This strategic expansion comes as a response to the growing travel demand between Arizona and California. Starting from May 17th, JSX will operate four weekly flights from Scottsdale Airport (SCF) to John Wayne Airport (SNA) in Orange County and McClellan–Palomar Airport (CLD) in Carlsbad. This new service promises a convenient escape for Arizona residents from the summer heat to the cooler climates of Southern California.

A spokesperson from JSX shared the excitement about the new service, emphasizing the added benefits of traveling with JSX, including two checked bags, complimentary Starlink Wi-Fi, and the unique hangar-to-hangar service that allows for an expedited check-in process.

The fleet, comprised mainly of the Embraer ERJ regional jet family, ensures a comfortable and intimate flying experience. Each aircraft, designed with a spacious cabin configuration, offers business-class legroom, power outlets, and complimentary amenities, making the journey as enjoyable as the destination.

The shift of operations from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport to Scottsdale earlier this year reflects JSX’s commitment to offering unparalleled convenience and efficiency. By operating out of smaller airports, JSX provides a seamless and time-saving travel experience, traditionally reserved for the elite, to a broader audience.

JSX’s marketing director, Ben Kaufman, highlighted the significant time savings and convenience that their service offers compared to traditional commercial flights, underscoring JSX’s role in making luxury travel experiences accessible to more people.

With the addition of Orange County and Carlsbad to its destination roster, JSX now connects Scottsdale residents to four locations, including Las Vegas and Burbank. The company remains open to adjusting its offerings based on customer demand and performance, indicating the potential for increased service frequency or an extended seasonal schedule.
