Ibiza Launches Disco Bus Routes for Clubbers
Ibiza has unveiled disco bus routes to enhance transportation between its major party resorts and popular nightclubs. This service, running from June 1 to the end of September, aims to provide a seamless and enjoyable travel experience for both locals and tourists.
The disco bus service connects San Antonio, Playa d'en Bossa, and Ibiza Town to the island's largest clubs. Buses depart every 30 to 45 minutes, with tickets priced at €4 or €5, depending on the route. To ensure a smooth ride, drinking on the bus is discouraged, and glass bottles and aluminum cans are prohibited. Passengers are allowed to bring water and drinks in plastic bottles.
From San Antonio, buses to super-clubs leave from the main bus station. In Playa d'en Bossa, the bus to San Antonio via Amnesia has stops outside Ushuaïa and across from Tantra bar. In Ibiza Town, buses start near Pacha and continue to the port next to McDonald's.
The stop for Amnesia, located on the highway between San Antonio and Ibiza Town, can be tricky to spot. Look for flags, a bridge, and a large billboard announcing the night's events. The bus also now includes DC10 on its route, stopping there before reaching Ushuaïa/Hï Ibiza on nights when DC10 is open.
For daytime travel, regular buses operate from 06:30 to 23:30, offering air-conditioned comfort. These buses connect major resorts every half hour and enforce a dress code, requiring passengers to wear a top or t-shirt. Beachgoers should bring a cover-up or t-shirt to comply with this rule.
