Emirates Introduces Exclusive 'Icons of Fine Wine' Collection Onboard

In celebration of International Wine Day on May 25, Emirates has announced the launch of a unique wine collection for its passengers this summer. This special selection, available on select flights, includes some of the rarest and most renowned wines from around the world, aiming to enhance the in-flight experience for wine aficionados.

First Class passengers traveling from Dubai to the UK and Americas will be treated to the Dom Pérignon Rosé 2008, a rare and luxurious champagne known for its exceptional quality. This vintage, made from Pinot Noir grapes, features a bouquet of raspberries and wild strawberries, with floral notes and a full-bodied palate.

Additionally, First Class travelers will have the opportunity to taste the Louis Latour Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru Les Demoiselles 2014, a prestigious white wine from Burgundy, France. This wine is celebrated for its balanced combination of fruit, spices, and minerality.

From mid-June to October, the Penfolds Yattarna Chardonnay 2019 will be available for First Class passengers on routes from Dubai to Australasia. This Chardonnay is known for its aromas of grapefruit and peach, complemented by hints of meringue and roasted hazelnut.

Emirates will also offer an impressive selection of red wines, including M. Chapoutier Ermitage Rouge Le Pavillon 2012 from the Rhône Valley, Vega Sicilia Unico 2006 Ribera del Duero from Spain, Ornellaia Bolgheri Tuscany 2012 from Italy, and Opus One Napa Valley 2012 from the USA. These wines are known for their rich flavors and intricate profiles.

In Business Class, passengers can enjoy mature Bordeaux wines from the 2009 vintage. Premium Economy and Economy Class travelers will also have access to a curated selection of high-quality wines, ensuring a special experience for all passengers.
