Elite tourists put Welsh restaurant on the list of the best in the world

The wealthy readers of Elite Traveler, a travel magazine for the super-rich, have voted for a Welsh restaurant and included it in the list of the world's best places to eat.
Each year, the magazine announces the winners of the Readers' Choice Award for Best Restaurants in partnership with The Macallan Single Malt Scotch Whisky for 2023. The list is determined by their "discerning, affluent audience" who regularly dine at global restaurants, NorthWalesLive reports.
The list includes 85 places. Among them is a restaurant in Wales - Ynyshir.

"Ynyshir, located in Eglwys Fach, Wales, is a two Michelin-starred restaurant headed by Chef Gareth Ward. Set in a picturesque and tranquil location, Ynyshir draws inspiration from the Welsh landscape and Japanese techniques," the report says.
And now the restaurant has also become popular with super-rich customers who like to order the tasting menu, which costs £375 per person.
"The restaurant showcases the best products sourced from Wales and the surrounding regions. The tasting menu at Ynyshir is a fascinating culinary journey that includes a range of dishes that perfectly combine simplicity with innovation," the magazine's summary says.
