Passengers flying to Tromsø in Norway will gain access to northern lights tours and Arctic landscapes, while those landing in Cairo can explore sites like the Khan El Khalili bazaar or cruise the Nile from the city. In Vienna, visitors can enjoy traditional coffee houses, imperial architecture, and festive Christmas markets in winter. The expanded network offers a variety of seasonal experiences without the need to transit through major hubs.
In Portugal, flights to Funchal on Madeira provide access to Cabo Girão viewpoint and the Levada do Caldeirão Verde hiking route. Travellers heading to Agadir, Morocco, can enjoy the sandy beaches of Taghazout and the surrounding Souss-Massa National Park. Prague offers a well-preserved historic core, the Vltava riverside, and panoramic views from Petřín Hill. With more direct flights from smaller airports, people no longer have to rely on major hubs to get where they’re going. These developments mark a shift toward improved seasonal accessibility across Europe, especially for those flying from secondary UK airports.
