Due to an earthquake in the Philippines, a crane collapsed from the roof of a multi-story building. Video
A powerful earthquake in the Philippines damaged a crane at a construction site. The video captures the moment when the moving part of the crane collapses, destroying the walls that have already been erected.
According to ABC News, the tremors affected the city of Davao and the southern region of the country. The shaking was so strong that a crane on the roof of a high-rise building could not withstand it and broke.
Police reported that no one was injured in the collapse. However, the building was damaged, as part of the crane broke the walls of the upper floors as it fell.
Although no one was injured in this particular incident, authorities reported that at least eight people were killed in the 6.7 magnitude earthquake on Sunday.
In other cities, aftershocks caused things to fall off shelves, minor damage and panic among people.
