Travel + Leisure has published its annual list of the best small towns in America, and one of them in central New York (the state in question) has been recognized as the best for spa and wellness.
We are talking about Aurora. It is not very popular among tourists, and therefore its beauty and nature seem even more untouched when you first meet it, WIBX 950 reports.
Alex Schlup, creative director of Inns of Aurora Resort & Spa, explained: "This town seems to be very far away from the busy pace of our daily lives."
It has an atmosphere of relaxation and rest, as well as rejuvenation. That is why, according to locals, those who have "discovered" the city once keep coming back here year after year.
When is the best time to go to Aurora
While the village welcomes visitors all year round, some may wonder what time of year is the best to book their vacation. The answer is simple: each month offers its own unique, refreshing atmosphere.
Summers there provide plenty of sunshine, while winters create cozy, snowy landscapes. Guests are also delighted with the beautiful fall foliage that dot the hills, as well as the abundance of spring flowers and fresh delicacies that can be bought on the streets.
