Poland has created a new Warsawpolis Guide app that will allow tourists and locals to explore Warsaw's sights. The city hall reported that the app already contains original thematic routes with augmented reality, animated guide figures, panoramas, and other multimedia referring to a specific place.
It is noted that the application covers not only cultural monuments but also hidden gems of Warsaw's urban architecture, Portal samorzadowy reports. In total, almost 800 objects are available to users, including monuments, green areas, cultural institutions, and shopping centers.
"Our goal was to create a tool that will not only make it easier to get acquainted with the Warsaw metropolis, but also open up lesser-known but no less fascinating places for you. Warsawpolis Guide is not just maps and routes - it is an invitation to explore the history, culture and architecture of our region," said Paweł Moras, Director of the Warsaw Tourism Office.
