The Isles of Scilly have been recognized as the number one place in the list of the most popular places in Britain.
The Isles of Scilly are known for their powder-white beaches and turquoise water. They are so beautiful that they attract people like Prince William and Princess Kate, who regularly vacation here, the Mirror writes.
A National Rail study has revealed the top 10 British destinations for UK residents. Edinburgh and the Lake District National Park are also among the top three.
Many people who took part in the survey said they would like to visit these three places at least once in their lives.
The top 10 also includes the Tower of London, the Scottish Highlands, Bath, Stonehenge, Exmouth in Devon, and Snowdonia in Wales. According to National Rail, more than half of the British people are looking for places with a beautiful landscape.
