Jet2 Black Friday: Save on Bags and Meals Before Deadlines Hit
Jet2 has launched two Black Friday offers that could lower the cost of extras for people with flights already booked. Its latest promotions take 30% off hold baggage and 25% off pre-ordered food, with different deadlines and promo codes for each. The catch is that neither discount applies to airfares, and both are available only after a flight reservation has been made.
The offers are restricted to customers who booked flights directly with Jet2. They can add eligible extras through Manage My Booking on the website or app, or by calling the airline. One-way and return flights qualify, but travel-agent bookings, Jet2holidays packages and group reservations are excluded. The person placing the booking must be at least 18. The codes cannot be used while buying new flights.
The Black Friday Codes and Deadlines
- Hold baggage: 30% off; code BFDEAL30; book by 23:59 on 9 November.
- In-flight food: 25% off; code BFTREAT; book by 23:59 on 12 November.
- Eligible travel: Baggage on departures from 3 November; meals from 6 November; complete travel by 31 October 2028.
- Allowance: Up to three 22kg bags per person, excluding infants; no ski or sports equipment.
- Starting price: Not specified; extras vary by booking.
Jet2 does not refund pre-booked meals or baggage after purchase, so check the final amount before paying. Previously purchased food is ineligible. If you change flights, meals transfer automatically with at least 48 hours’ notice for hot meals or six days for fresh food. Baggage space is subject to availability. A date change outside the promotional travel period removes the discount, meaning an additional charge may become due.
These deals suit customers who have not yet added extras to existing bookings. Before applying either code, check what your ticket includes and whether you need a hold bag or pre-ordered food. The offers cannot generally be combined with other retail promotions, although some automatic booking discounts are permitted. Jet2 may amend or withdraw the deals before purchase; check its promotions page for current terms.
