Following successful eclipse-viewing cruises aboard the Emerald Princess and Discovery Princess along the coast of Mexico, the upcoming eclipse promises to be even more captivating.

Scheduled for August 12, 2026, the total solar eclipse will be a spectacle, and Princess Cruises offers the best viewing spots on the northern coast of Spain. The Sky Princess, with 3,660 guests, will depart from Southampton on August 8, 2026, for a 14-day cruise in the Mediterranean Sea.

One of the highlights of the itinerary will be the opportunity for passengers to observe the total eclipse at sea near the coast of Spain, with a duration of totality of two minutes and 18 seconds. Guests on board will have an immersive experience, with their own safety glasses for observation, lectures from astronomy experts, themed events, and other activities.
