The airport will mark Valentine’s Day with a series of themed activities running between 6 and 15 February, turning both terminals into a temporary celebration space. Travellers will find romantic decorations, flower-filled photo spots and interactive displays designed to add a lighter note to the journey. The programme is designed for people already spending time in the terminals, adding small distractions and themed activities while they wait to depart.

Central to the programme is the "Love Passport", available near the photo areas and from airport hosts. The booklet guides visitors through participating shops and locations, linking purchases with small rewards. Shoppers spending €120 or more in selected stores receive a gourmet tasting gift from Maison Ballanger, a long-established French confectionery brand, while stocks last.

On 14 February itself, the airport will hand out candy apples as a one-day treat for those passing through. Additional entertainment is scheduled beyond Valentine’s Day, stretching the atmosphere into the second half of the month. These activities are aimed at travellers with time to spare before boarding, as well as visitors accompanying departing passengers.

What travellers can expect during February

  • Romantic photo zones across the terminals
  • Valentine’s-themed gift trails linked to airport shops
  • Giant lemon sculptures and carnival figures displayed throughout the airport
  • Origami workshops celebrating Chinese New Year on 14 February
  • Live entertainment, sweets, face painting and mascot appearances on selected dates

The displays run daily between 3 and 25 February, with individual events taking place on specific dates.

The programme does not require changes to travel plans, but fills time already spent at the airport with simple distractions. It fits people who arrive early, wait for a connection or want something to look at before boarding. Events like these show how terminals are being used as public spaces, adding small touches of entertainment that make routine journeys feel less repetitive without asking anything extra of those passing through.
