Several notable locations are within easy reach. Running through the heart of the city, Odori Park hosts seasonal events, while Mount Moiwa presents panoramic views reachable via ropeway, and Asahiyama Memorial Park offers landscaped gardens and elevated viewpoints. Visitors staying at the hotel can explore nearby open areas as well as higher viewpoints, which together provide a variety of ways to spend time outdoors without traveling far.
Additional nearby points of interest include the Japanese Garden in Nakajima Park, featuring traditional landscaping and walking paths, the Sapporo TV Tower at the eastern end of Odori Park with observation platforms over the city, and Hoheikyo Onsen, a natural hot spring area located just outside Sapporo amid forested terrain. At these spots, visitors can see the city’s main attractions while also stepping out into nearby natural areas.
The opening of InterContinental Sapporo adds another option for visitors and situates them close to both urban and outdoor attractions. Located close to key parks, observation points, and urban facilities, the hotel enables travelers to arrange their itineraries efficiently.
