Norwegian Air has announced its flight schedule for the winter season of 2025-2026, introducing an extensive network of direct routes from the UK to key Nordic destinations. Passengers can now book flights from London Gatwick, Manchester, and Edinburgh to cities in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. Due to high demand, the airline will continue operating its popular winter routes to Tromsø and Rovaniemi, sought after by travelers looking for unique Arctic experiences.

The winter schedule includes 159 routes to 82 destinations. From London Gatwick, travelers can fly to major capitals such as Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, and Helsinki, as well as regional airports like Trondheim, Bergen, and Stavanger. Manchester will maintain connections to Copenhagen, Oslo, Stavanger, Bergen, and Tromsø. Additionally, Edinburgh will offer flights to Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Oslo, providing travelers with more direct access to Northern Europe’s winter destinations.

For travelers, this expansion opens up new opportunities to explore Northern Europe in the winter months. Tromsø and Rovaniemi are among the top locations for experiencing the northern lights, dog sledding, and learning about the indigenous Sámi culture. The availability of direct flights simplifies trip planning, making these unique locations more accessible. Previously, reaching these destinations often required long layovers or complex connections, but now they can be reached more conveniently.

Beyond Arctic locations, travelers will have easy access to Northern European capitals, each offering its own winter charm. In Copenhagen, visitors can enjoy traditional Christmas markets and the historic Tivoli Gardens, while Stockholm’s medieval Gamla Stan district offers a glimpse into the city's past. Helsinki is known for its ice hotels and saunas, providing a distinctly Finnish winter experience. For nature lovers, Norway’s fjords and Lapland’s snowy landscapes offer unforgettable adventures.

The increase in routes means more travel options for the winter season. Tourists will benefit from greater flexibility when planning their trips, with more direct flights reducing the need for layovers. This expansion also supports the growth of winter tourism in the region, making Scandinavian destinations more accessible to international visitors. With its updated winter schedule, Norwegian is making winter travel easier and opening new possibilities for travelers seeking seasonal experiences.
