Munich Gets More Singapore Flights
Singapore Airlines will increase its Munich to Singapore service from seven to ten weekly flights when the winter 2026 schedule begins at the end of October. The airline already operates daily departures around midday. Three extra evening flights will be added on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, giving passengers more choice when planning trips to Asia.
The new evening flights will give passengers another overnight option between Munich and Singapore. Singapore Airlines says the additional services are timed to improve layovers through Singapore, particularly for people continuing to destinations across Asia and the Pacific. The change also adds more flexibility for travellers who prefer to leave Munich later in the day.
Key Route Details
The expanded winter schedule includes:
- Singapore Airlines will increase Munich-Singapore flights from seven to ten per week
- New evening services will run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
- Flights will leave Munich at 8:30pm
- Arrival in Singapore will be at 3:15pm the next day
- The timing is aimed at better onward connections through Singapore
The extra flights should make destinations such as Bangkok, Denpasar in Bali, Koh Samui, Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh City, Australia and New Zealand easier to reach with better timings through Singapore. The change gives people in Bavaria and nearby regions more options for long-haul holidays, family visits, business trips and multi-stop itineraries.
The update strengthens Munich’s role as a long-haul hub and gives passengers more flexibility without relying on one daily departure. Evening flights are useful for people who want to work or travel to the airport during the day, then fly overnight. Across Munich and Frankfurt, Singapore Airlines will operate 24 weekly flights from Germany to Singapore.
