Delta Connects Atlanta and Riyadh Nonstop
Delta will begin nonstop flights between Atlanta and Riyadh this autumn, giving the airline its first direct connection to Saudi Arabia. It will also be the first nonstop service between the United States and Riyadh operated by a U.S. carrier. The route connects into Delta’s large Atlanta hub, making Riyadh reachable with one stop for travellers starting in many other American cities.
How the New Riyadh Service Will Work

- Frequency: Daily until 30 October, then three flights weekly

The A350-900 will offer Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort and Delta Main cabins. SkyMiles members will have access to Delta Sync Wi-Fi where available, while halal meals can be selected when booking or before travel. Delta is also offering limited-time SkyMiles award deals for the new route, giving members another way to book seats using miles.
The new flight puts Riyadh’s historic and modern districts within easier reach of the U.S. Diriyah and the UNESCO-listed At-Turaif District sit close to the capital, while desert trips such as the Edge of the World are possible outside the city. Longer Saudi itineraries can include AlUla and Hegra, Jeddah’s Al-Balad district and the Red Sea coast.
The route will also simplify journeys for travellers starting elsewhere in the United States. They can connect through Delta’s Atlanta hub and continue nonstop to Riyadh, rather than piecing together an itinerary involving another international hub. After the initial daily launch period, the three-times-weekly schedule will require more careful planning for shorter trips or fixed travel dates.
