Bremen Adds Extra Ryanair Flights to Zadar and Málaga
Ryanair is increasing its flight programme from Bremen, adding extra services to Zadar and Málaga during the 2026 summer season. The expansion comes at a time when some airlines are reducing capacity, making the decision particularly notable for the airport. According to Bremen Airport management, the additional frequencies strengthen links to popular leisure destinations and give travellers more choice when planning summer holidays in Southern Europe.
Flights to Zadar on Croatia’s Adriatic coast will operate twice a week from 1 May 2026, with departures on Mondays and Fridays. In July and August, a third weekly flight is scheduled on Wednesdays, giving an additional travel option in the middle of the week. The route will run until October, making it possible to visit the Croatian coast even after the busiest summer months and choose travel dates more freely.
Connections to Málaga are also increasing in the summer timetable. Ryanair currently flies to the Andalusian city twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. From 30 June 2026, an additional Friday flight will be introduced, giving three weekly departures. The updated schedule creates more flexibility when planning both short visits and longer stays on Spain’s Costa del Sol, with more choice of departure days.
Destinations included in the expanded schedule
- Zadar, Croatia – historic old town near the Adriatic coast
- Málaga, Spain – seaside city with cultural landmarks
More weekly flights make it easier to plan a trip that combines time by the sea with exploring local history. Zadar has visible traces of Roman history, streets shaped during the Venetian period and easy access to national parks along the Adriatic coast. Málaga offers beaches, museums and traditional Andalusian areas. Flights on different weekdays make it easier to choose trip length and find suitable ticket prices.
The additional flights show that Mediterranean routes remain popular among people travelling from northern Germany. Having more departures during the week makes it simpler to choose travel dates that fit work, school holidays or personal plans. The schedule running until October also allows trips after the busiest summer period, when the weather is still warm and destinations such as Zadar and Málaga are usually calmer and easier to enjoy.
