Azerbaijan Airlines has introduced an exclusive promotion for global passengers heading to Baku for the COP29 climate conference. In preparation for the global summit, AZAL is providing a ten percent reduction on all seating options, including business, premium economy, and economy, for individuals flying to the capital of Azerbaijan.

To take advantage of the discount, travelers need to reserve their tickets through the airline’s official online platform or mobile application, using the discount code VISITCOP29. The promotion is valid up to the eighth of November, two thousand twenty-four, for trips scheduled between the first of November and the first of December, two thousand twenty-four, and applies for travelers who are eighteen years or older on all global flight routes operated by AZAL.

The twenty-ninth annual Conference of the Parties, is a major worldwide summit centered on addressing environmental issues and implementing solutions for environmental sustainability. Set to take place from the eleventh to the twenty-second of November, two thousand twenty-four, in Baku, the summit will gather government officials, industry key figures, and ecological organizations from around the world to discuss key climate issues, with a particular focus on international collaboration to meet climate targets.

The event is expected to draw thousands of participants, including scientists, environmental advocates, and policymakers, making Baku a significant hub of activity during this period. The conference will play a crucial role in shaping global climate policy and could influence major decisions on carbon emissions and climate finance.

For travelers, this discounted fare presents a key opportunity to plan their trip early, securing an affordable journey to Baku during a time when demand for flights is anticipated to be elevated. With the arrival of global visitors, early reserving could mean avoiding potential price hikes closer to the event.

This announcement by AZAL highlights the importance of making major events like COP29 accessible to a global audience, ensuring that discussions on global warming are supported by broad international participation. For travelers, it offers a chance to be part of a significant moment in climate diplomacy while benefiting from reduced travel costs.
