What nice little things airlines offer to entertain your child on board
Flying can be stressful even for adult passengers, so children have a much harder time with pressure changes and fear of heights in a confined space. To help calm kids down, some airlines offer gifts.
These can be soft toys, coloring books, craft kits, and other pleasant little things that distract the youngest passengers from stress. New York Post reported on the offers of various airlines.
Virgin Atlantic gives away a KiD backpack for children aged 2 to 6, which contains a diary for relaxation and other pleasant surprises, while British Airways gives away a Skyflyers set with a postcard that can be sent home.
Emirates Airlines, for example, allows kids to take home puzzles, toys, and games, while Singapore Airlines gives free soft toys to passengers under 12. Nippon Airlines, Cathay Pacific, and Japan Airlines offer the same gifts.
Other airlines that give away nice little things for kids are EVA Air, Gulf Air, Korean Air, Lufthansa, Malaysian Airlines, Qantas, Qatar Airways, South African Airways, Sri Lankan Airlines, and Thai Airways.
