Two New Summer Routes Added to Cluj’s Departure Board
Wizz Air has confirmed two new summer routes from Cluj-Napoca for 2026, adding Malta and Dubrovnik to its schedule. The flights will start in late May and are planned for the summer season. Tickets are already on sale, with one-way fares starting at 129 RON and hand luggage included, allowing trips to be booked well in advance.
Flights to Malta will begin on 22 May 2026 and operate twice weekly, on Mondays and Fridays. The following day, 23 May, Wizz Air will open flights to Dubrovnik, also running twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Both routes are planned for the summer season and expand Cluj-Napoca’s direct links to Mediterranean destinations.
The additions follow a period of steady growth for Wizz Air in Romania, where the airline continues to build out regional airports alongside larger hubs. Cluj-Napoca remains a key base in that strategy, with the summer 2026 schedule focused on short-haul leisure travel. The airline says the new routes respond to ongoing demand for direct access to coastal destinations.
