Riyadh Air has established a new partnership with the Ministry of Culture aimed at incorporating aspects of Saudi heritage into the airline’s passenger experience. Saudi culture will be woven into the look of airport areas, the services on board, and the entertainment for passengers. This step fits into the wider Vision 2030 plan to bring culture into everyday life and make travel more meaningful for both visitors and locals.

The partnership will see Riyadh Air incorporating Saudi artistic and cultural expressions into various aspects of its operations. That means everything from Saudi art in the lounge to classic local meals on board and maybe even a cultural show mid-air. The airline also plans to collaborate with Saudi designers and artists to create culturally inspired cabin interiors and staff uniforms.

Air passengers engaging with Riyadh Air can anticipate a more immersive journey, enriched with cultural cues from the moment they begin their trip. From the food to the entertainment, passengers get an early taste of Saudi culture before they even touch down. This approach responds to the increasing global interest in authentic and meaningful travel.

The initiative is expected to elevate the quality of the journey by offering experiences rooted in local traditions and contemporary interpretations. From festival-inspired flights to locally produced media, passengers will enjoy a variety of cultural touches throughout the year. These small updates make the trip feel more personal and not just like any other long international flight.

At Riyadh Air, we take pride in being more than just an airline—we are ambassadors of Saudi culture. This partnership allows us to bring the beauty and diversity of Saudi Arabia to life through every detail of the travel experience, from our branding to the services we provide onboard and in our lounges.

This kind of collaboration shows how air travel is evolving into a tool for national branding and cultural engagement. By embedding local identity into the flight experience, Riyadh Air strengthens its position not just as a transport provider but as a cultural envoy. This approach adds new meaning to air travel by turning flights into opportunities for cultural exchange and discovery.
