New Bus Routes to Enhance Travel in Rural Bicester Area
Starting Monday, July 1, a new bus service will connect rural communities to Bicester, making travel in the area more convenient. This service, operated by Ability CIC and financially supported by Oxfordshire County Council, aims to improve transportation options for residents and visitors alike.
The new services, designated as routes 81 and 82, will run from Monday to Saturday, offering three off-peak return trips daily, along with early morning and evening services. Additionally, service 108 will operate between Langford Village and Bicester Town Centre, providing four trips in each direction from Monday to Friday.
Travelers will find the new routes particularly beneficial as they explore the scenic rural areas around Bicester. The bus services will cover picturesque villages such as Ardley, Bucknell, and Fritwell on route 81, while route 82 will traverse through charming locations like Cottisford, Finmere, and Stratton Audley. Service 108 will serve Langford Village, making it easier for residents and tourists to reach Bicester Town Centre.
