Memmingen Expands Summer Map With 56 Destinations

Memmingen Airport’s summer timetable begins on 29 March 2026, offering 56 destinations across 27 countries. The programme includes a wide mix of leisure and city routes across Southern Europe, Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean region. Spain and Portugal feature prominently, with regular flights to Alicante, Barcelona, Malaga, Valencia, Mallorca, Porto and Faro, operated mainly by Ryanair and Wizz Air.
Turkey also remains an important part of the summer schedule. SunExpress plans up to seven weekly flights to Antalya during the peak holiday period, while Freebird Airlines will also operate seasonal services to the Turkish Riviera. Morocco joins the network with regular flights to Tangier, providing rail connections to cities such as Marrakesh, Rabat, Agadir and Fes, expanding travel options beyond the coast.
Summer 2026 destinations from Memmingen
- Spain: Alicante, Barcelona, Malaga, Valencia, Mallorca
- Portugal: Porto, Faro
- Turkey: Antalya (SunExpress, Freebird Airlines)
- Morocco: Tangier
- Eastern Europe: Tirana, Bucharest, Târgu Mureș
- Newer leisure options: Yerevan, Kutaisi
- Italy and Croatia: Alghero, Zagreb
- Greek islands and resorts: Rhodes, Santorini, Heraklion, Chalkidiki, Thessaloniki
- Additional charter routes: Sardinia, Calvi (Corsica), Channel Islands
The route network includes Mediterranean beach destinations, historic cities and less common options in Eastern Europe. Kutaisi can be used as a base for travelling through western Georgia and the Caucasus region, while Yerevan gives access to Armenia’s monasteries and cultural landmarks. Tangier provides a northern gateway to Morocco, and the Greek island routes remain focused on summer travel centred around the coast and resort areas.
The timetable shows how regional airports continue to focus on leisure routes and visiting friends and relatives traffic. A broad mix of scheduled and charter flights gives more flexibility when planning summer trips, particularly across Southern and Eastern Europe. With several airlines operating similar routes, travellers may also find more choice in departure days, helping organise holidays around preferred dates rather than limited availability.
