Jet2 Adds Early Summer 2027 Routes From Bournemouth And Edinburgh
Jet2 has announced three new Summer 2027 destinations departing from Bournemouth and Edinburgh airports, responding to strong early booking demand across the UK. The airline and tour operator confirmed new services to Reus in Spain, alongside Crete (Chania) and Pula, expanding its leisure network well ahead of the summer season. All newly introduced routes will operate exclusively from their respective departure airports.

A new service linking Bournemouth Airport with Reus adds another Spanish option to the airport’s summer programme. The Catalonian gateway offers access to Costa Dorada resorts such as Salou, Cap Salou and La Pineda, combining beach holidays with local culture. Spain continues to draw consistent interest among British holidaymakers planning extended summer stays and family trips.
Flights to Chania will give Scotland its first direct link to western Crete, opening access to smaller coastal towns, mountain landscapes and beaches away from the island’s busiest resort areas. Services to Pula introduce another Croatian destination to Edinburgh’s summer schedule, combining historic sites with Adriatic seaside travel. Following the expansion, Jet2 will operate 18 destinations from Bournemouth and 40 summer routes from Edinburgh.
The new routes also make Mediterranean holidays easier to reach without travelling via larger UK airports. Costa Dorada is easier to reach for travellers in southern England, while Crete and Croatia add new choices for longer summer holidays and combined itineraries. Earlier route announcements also reflect how many people now organise summer trips further in advance, with regional airports increasingly shaping where UK holiday journeys begin.
