In the next few years, Hyatt Hotels Corporation plans to open two new places for travellers to stay in Thailand. The Barai Hua Hin is scheduled to open in late 2026, while the renovated Narai Hotel in Bangkok is set to reopen in 2028. These additions will join Hyatt’s existing portfolio of 15 hotels across the country, expanding accommodation options in two destinations popular with both domestic and international travellers year-round.

The Barai Hua Hin will be located next to the beachfront Hyatt Regency Hua Hin. It will feature 90 rooms and suites, a wellness centre and a destination spa designed by Thai architect Lek Bunnag. The spa will include 18 treatment rooms and eight residential suites, with interiors influenced by Thai healing traditions based on the four natural elements of earth, water, wind and fire. The property will be positioned within easy reach of the town’s central area.

We are proud to announce these plans to introduce The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand in Thailand with two distinctive properties in Hua Hin and Bangkok. This marks an exciting chapter in our brand growth in the country and the Asia Pacific region. It underscores our commitment to delivering unique luxury experiences that today's travelers increasingly seek.

In Hua Hin, the new hotel will be only a short walk from Hua Hin Beach, a long sandy shoreline with calm waters that is popular for swimming, early morning walks and kite surfing in the afternoon. Only minutes from the hotel stands Cicada Market, a weekend hub where local makers bring the place to life with handmade crafts, distinctive clothing and original works of art Near the market, small open-air stages light up with live music and theatre, sending sound through the night and drawing groups of locals and visitors who pause to watch and enjoy the lively scene.

In Bangkok, guests at the Narai Hotel will be able to reach Lumpini Park on foot, a wide stretch of greenery in the city’s centre that has lakes, paths for jogging and shaded spots where people relax or join in outdoor activities. A short walk away is Silom Road, a busy and lively street filled with food stalls offering many kinds of Thai dishes and small shops that keep their doors open well into the night. In the evenings, this part of Bangkok bursts into life, giving travellers a real taste of the city’s energy, with many chances to sample local food and wander through small independent shops.

Travellers can look forward to having more places to stay in two of Thailand’s busiest and most popular locations. From each hotel, visitors will have easy access to well-known local spots, making it simple to enjoy nearby markets, parks, beaches and the bustle of everyday street life without spending much time travelling. With a range of attractions in the surrounding area, visitors can balance moments of rest with opportunities to explore and experience different activities throughout their stay in Thailand.
