Greek Islands Return to Paderborn Summer Schedule

TUI has announced its summer 2026 programme from Paderborn/Lippstadt Airport, focusing on direct flights to three well-known Greek islands. The schedule includes connections to Crete, Kos and Rhodes, offering several weekly departures during the peak holiday season. The first flight is planned for 9 May, marking the start of the summer schedule and continuing a long-standing demand for Mediterranean destinations from the regional airport.
Crete will be served up to four times per week, with departures scheduled on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Flights to Kos will operate every Saturday, maintaining a pattern familiar to travellers who used these connections in previous years. Both routes will again be operated by Freebird Europe, which has already served these destinations from Paderborn/Lippstadt in recent seasons.
From July 2026, the programme expands with weekly flights to Rhodes, scheduled on Thursdays. These flights will be operated by Aegean Airlines on behalf of TUI, marking the first time the Greek carrier will be involved in the Rhodes route from the airport. Tickets for all routes are available through travel agencies and online booking channels.
Destinations included in the programme
- Crete – up to four weekly departures
- Kos – weekly Saturday flights
- Rhodes – weekly Thursday flights starting July
These routes improve access to well-known beaches, historical landmarks and coastal towns across the Greek islands, offering more choice for summer trips in the eastern Mediterranean.
The expanded schedule reflects continued interest in Greece as a summer destination. Additional weekly frequencies make it easier to plan longer stays or shorter holidays depending on preferred travel dates. A wider range of departures provides more flexibility when comparing prices and availability, helping travellers organise trips around personal schedules rather than limited flight options.
