Ryanair has unveiled its Summer 2026 schedule at Glasgow Prestwick Airport, confirming 10 routes for the season. The line-up includes leisure destinations such as Lanzarote, Palma de Mallorca and Tenerife, alongside city breaks including Barcelona and Pisa. The airline will also increase frequencies on five established services, adding extra flights to Alicante, Faro, Pisa, Malaga and Murcia.

The programme is supported by two Ryanair aircraft based at Glasgow Prestwick, representing a reported $200 million investment. The carrier has operated at the airport for more than three decades, and the latest schedule reflects continued activity in the west of Scotland market. Tickets for Summer 2026 are already on sale, with lead-in fares starting at £29.99.

“We are delighted to see our long-standing partner, Ryanair, further strengthen its commitment to Glasgow Prestwick Airport with increased frequencies on five of its ten routes this summer."
Zoe Kilpatrick, Glasgow Prestwick Airport’s Commercial Director

Airport representatives have welcomed the additional capacity, noting steady demand across both outbound holidays and short European breaks. Increased frequencies on selected routes are expected to provide more options during peak weeks. The airline’s expanded timetable forms part of its wider UK network planning for summer 2026, with Glasgow Prestwick retaining a stable mix of sun and city destinations.

Summer 2026 routes from Glasgow Prestwick

  • Lanzarote
  • Palma de Mallorca
  • Tenerife
  • Barcelona
  • Pisa
  • Alicante
  • Faro
  • Malaga
  • Murcia
  • One additional seasonal route within the 10 announced

With direct links to Spanish islands, mainland resorts and Italian city breaks, the schedule provides beach holidays, cultural weekends and family trips without travelling to larger Scottish airports. Extra flights on busy routes could make it easier to find seats during school holidays, with more departure times available across the summer.

A 10-route schedule will not redraw the aviation map, but it reinforces Glasgow Prestwick’s position as a departure airport for the west of Scotland. Extra flights on existing routes point to consistent demand rather than a short-term spike. Tickets are already on sale, and the increase in seats gives people planning summer 2026 trips more flexibility over travel dates and destination choices.
