Cagliari Adds Bordeaux and Nice Flights

easyJet has launched two new international routes from Cagliari Airport, adding direct services to Bordeaux and Nice. The flights expand the Sardinian airport’s links with France and give travellers more choice for summer 2026. The airport says the new connections support tourism, business travel and wider exchanges between Sardinia and the two French regions.
New France Flights This Summer
- Airport: Cagliari Airport
- Airline: easyJet
- New destinations: Bordeaux and Nice
- Frequency: two flights a week on each route
- Season: Summer 2026
- Network impact: eight direct easyJet routes from Cagliari
The two French destinations bring different types of demand to Cagliari’s summer network. Bordeaux is known for wine tourism, universities and a growing business scene, while Nice remains one of the main gateways to the Côte d’Azur. Both routes add more direct options for people travelling for holidays, events, work or visits between Sardinia and France.
For Sardinian travellers, Bordeaux means easier access to the Garonne riverfront, Cité du Vin, the Saint-Pierre district and vineyard trips around the region. Nice opens up the Promenade des Anglais, the old town, museums and Riviera stops such as Cannes or Monaco. French visitors, meanwhile, gain a simpler route to Cagliari’s historic centre, Poetto beach and southern Sardinia.
The launch gives Cagliari Airport a stronger summer link with France and widens easyJet’s role at the Sardinian airport. With eight direct routes now planned for summer 2026, the carrier is adding more variety beyond domestic and traditional holiday traffic. For passengers, the main benefit is simple: two French city routes that work for both leisure and business trips.
