AirAsia Malaysia is set to enhance its Australian network with a new direct route between Kuala Lumpur and Darwin, launching on 27 June 2025. This addition marks the airline’s growing commitment to affordable long-haul travel, operating four weekly flights. The schedule accommodates different traveler needs, with early morning and midday departures from Kuala Lumpur and afternoon return flights from Darwin. The direct Kuala Lumpur-Darwin service eliminates the need for stopovers, reducing travel time and offering greater accessibility for passengers. With AirAsia’s Fly-Thru option via Kuala Lumpur, travelers from key Asian markets—such as Thailand, India, Sri Lanka, and the Philippines—can seamlessly reach Darwin.
