Air Montenegro Adds Low-Fare Routes for Winter Travel Across Europe

Montenegro’s flag carrier has launched a special winter 2025–2026 promotion aimed at inspiring travelers to explore during the slower season. The promotion covers a number of European destinations from Podgorica and Tivat, so people can take short trips or cultural tours without spending a lot of money. The program also helps keep routes stable during the winter, when passenger demand across the Balkans and Central Europe usually drops.
Details of the promotion:
- Sales period: October 20–30, 2025
- Travel period: November 1, 2025 – March 28, 2026
Return fares:
- €109 – Belgrade, Ljubljana, Rome
- €149 – Zurich
- €169 – Istanbul
Each fare includes taxes, one cabin bag up to 8 kilograms, and one checked bag up to 23 kilograms. The number of discounted seats is limited.
The offer allows travelers to discover diverse cultural attractions and unique experiences. Visitors to Rome can see famous sights such as the Colosseum, the Pantheon, and St. Peter's Basilica, which are usually much quieter at this time of year than during the crowded summer season. Ljubljana delights visitors with its picturesque old town, charming riverside cafes, and convenient access to nearby Alpine landscapes. Belgrade, on the other hand, has a lively mix of historic fortresses, bustling riverside districts, and winter cultural events that showcase Serbia's growing tourism industry.
Those traveling to Zurich and Istanbul will find contrasting experiences shaped by geography and heritage. Zurich has modern buildings and is close to the Swiss Alps, so you can enjoy the city and go skiing or snowboarding. Visitors in Istanbul can wander through historic bazaars, admire the Hagia Sophia, and enjoy panoramic views of the Bosphorus from different parts of the city. These places offer a wide range of cultural experiences and seasonal travel options from Montenegro.

Air Montenegro's move is a smart way to deal with changing travel patterns. More and more people want to take shorter, experience-focused trips outside of the summer peak. Lower prices can help spread out European travel throughout the year. For this reason, the airline’s winter discounts reflect a broader regional shift toward flexible and off-season travel options.
